OUR PATIENTS

At Healing Leaves, we’re all about connecting patients with approved prescribers that are qualified to assist you with obtaining a script for natural  alternatives in Australia.

To determine if you are eligible for a prescription in Australia, the patient must first conduct an initial consultation with a prescribing Doctor.

The whole process is extremely easy for patients wanting to learn more about natural products and find out if they are eligible for prescriptions thanks to Healing Leaves' online telehealth app.

Currently in Australia natural alternatives are only available via prescription from a medical practitioner who has gained approval from the therapeutic goods administration to prescribe. If you are suffering from a chronic condition, have trialled traditional pharmaceuticals and are looking for an alternative therapeutic treatment option, you may be a suitable candidate.

What SAS applications are approved in Australia for natural alternatives?

The Special Access Scheme (SAS) allows certain health practitioners to access therapeutic goods (such as medicines, medical devices or biologicals) that are not included in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG) for a single patient.

To date, the TGA has approved SAS applications including, but not limited to, the following indications:

CHRONIC PAIN
